UNSW Engineering will be hosting an Education Focussed Lunch & Learn. Hear from Education Focussed academics about innovative teaching approaches towards assessment, student learning and classroom practice.
Speakers
- Robert Holdom (School of Civil and Environmental Engineering) will be presenting on his experience with hybrid teaching, successes and challenges.
- Dr Ruth Fisher (School of Civil and Environmental Engineering) will be presenting on Investigating Assessment and Feedback practices at UNSW - A university wide EF Fellowship project.
Dr Fisher completed an EF Fellowship in T3 2021 on a Uni-wide project investigating assessment and feedback practices. In this presentation, Dr Fisher will give a brief rundown on the findings and how the EF fellowships are a great opportunity to deep dive into an area of educational practice.
This event will be run face-to-face primarily with a catered light lunch. Speaker presentations can also be viewed online via a Teams link, but it is recommended to attend in person to make the most out of the networking session.
