Senior Lecturer at SOSS/ADA and ADA's Co-Wellbeing Champion
Deborah Barros Leal Farias is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Social Sciences. Her main areas of research and teaching are Politics and International Relations, and she is the current Director of the Globalisation and Governance Network. She is passionate about initiatives that promote attention and care to mental health issues (especially for students), and since 2021, she has been ADA's Co-Champion for Student Wellbeing. She is a proud recipient of the 2020 Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (Early Career).
