There is a suite of support offered to staff interested in learning more about the Scholarship of Learning and Teaching (SoTL). These are open to all UNSW staff (Education Focussed, combined track, and professional). Specific examples include:
- The SoTL series: offers workshops, presentations, and a Journal Club. All events held in the Teaching Commons
- Peer Review of Journal Mentorship: Several initiatives to develop skills for peer review of SoTL journal articles, which include the UNSW/Teaching and Learning Inquiry (TLI) Peer Reviewer of Journals Mentoring Program and the Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice (JUTLP).
- Abstract writing: Targeted abstract writing workshops and drop-in sessions for educational conferences
- Advance HE Fellowship: Support with applications, cross-institutional networking opportunities, mentorship, professional development
