The UNSW Scientia Education Academy (SEA) unites the passion, commitment and expertise of the Scientia Education Fellows to enhance teaching and learning across UNSW
Established in October 2016, the UNSW Scientia Education Academy recognises our most outstanding educators for their leadership and contributions to enriching education, and gives them a platform to showcase and facilitate educational excellence at UNSW and beyond.
Appointed from across all UNSW faculties, Scientia Education Fellows share a genuine passion to inspire students to achieve their absolute best, both during the studies and in their long-term careers.
The Fellows champion educational excellence by:
- enhancing the profile and quality of teaching and learning within the University
- providing inspiration and vision with contributions to educational scholarship and policy
- promoting improvements within teaching practice through individual and group projects
- modelling collegial approaches to mentoring within the UNSW education community.
What is the purpose of the Academy?
